Setup Schedule
You use the Setup Schedule tabs to define the characteristics of the activities, locations, material movement, resources, calendars, and targets for your schedule.
For Underground scenarios these can include:
- defining the activities you want to schedule
- creating underground production locations and defining their properties
- creating stockpiles, processes, and fill locations
- defining your material movement
- defining precedences between any combination of development headings and production locations
- defining priorities for development headings and production locations
- creating your development resources, assigning them to your headings, and defining resource rates
- creating your production resources, assigning them to your production locations, and defining resource rates
- allocating resources to underground stockpiles and defining resource rates
- creating your activity resources and assigning them to your activities
- creating holiday calendars and working time calendars and assigning them to your resources and processes
For Surface scenarios these can include:
- defining the activities you want to schedule
- creating surface mining locations, stockpiles, processes, and fill locations and assigning their properties
- defining your material movement, and (optionally) entering details about the haulage routes and the trucks that haul the material
- creating your production resources, assigning them to your mining locations, and defining resource rates
- creating your activity resources and assigning them to your activities
- defining any spatial relationships that exist between mining locations
- creating holiday calendars and working time calendars and assigning them to your resources and processes
- defining quality targets, material ratio targets, and parameters which affect the target scheduling algorithms
